Open mornings in September
After much social media advertising in the last few weeks, I am pleased to be able host 2 open mornings in Glossop.
The first one is next Tuesday, 17 September at Howard Medical Practice- 9:00am until 12:00 noon- I am offering free 15 minute bookings to answer any questions that you might have about counselling and mental health issues. It will be a chance to do this on a one to one basis and all content will be kept confidential. These are general question clinics and not therapeutic sessions. Please see the flyer for more details. Open morning- Howard Medical
The second open morning will be held at Bradbury House, Glossop on 23 September 10:15am until 12 noon. This one is more of a community-based open morning where I hope to see some friendly faces, new faces and inquisitive faces! There will be activities and a short introduction from myself to coincide with the launch of the practice. Please see the flyer for more details.Open morning- Bradbury House
Both mornings are a chance to meet me and find out more about counselling.
I am looking forward to meeting you all and answering your questions about counselling and mental health.
I am hoping to demystify the profession, give hints and tips on how you can manage day to day if you are struggling at the moment and to signpost you on to other sources of help if you think private counselling is not for you.
I want to use both opportunities to meet you all and understand a little more what the potential barriers are to seeing a counsellor and explain voluntary services and private counselling in a balanced way so that you can make up your own minds about what might be more beneficial to you. I am really hopeful for the town’s and surrounding towns’ input on all things mental health, to help shape my practice and understand a little more about why you may not see counselling as an option for you or indeed the opposite- any stories about how counselling did help will also be welcomed and encouraged!
I look forward to meeting you and I hope that you find one or both mornings beneficial and engaging.
